Baking my life away

Wheew! This chef made it to the end of the week. I’m a little worse for wear but happy to be at least partially standing. I plan to spend most of my weekend, resting, organizing and creating a consistent schedule. I wasted a lot of precious energy and stamina this week and that is not efficient for business or my health. Unfortunately, my body is not what it used to be and no matter how hard I try, I cannot push, push and push like I used to. Pacing and self control are the order of every single day and they apply to all aspects of my life cooking, baking, eating, and living included. This is my life living with fibromyalgia.

Late night Cinnamon Raisin Loaf in the oven in prep for tomorrow’s community meet and greet. I love East Nashville and the support of local business is truly a blessing. Not sure what size crowd to expect but I am hoping for a solid turn out. I plan to be back to my regularly scheduled posting next week. I am starting a quarterly 4 day fruit and protein fast starting on Sunday. I like to do these occasionally to reset my system and clean myself out. Stay tuned.

Signing off,
