I made this Strawberry Banana Chai Smoothie on the fly. I made sure to record the recipe for a future (yet to be announced) cookbook. Almond milk, banana, and Greek yogurt give it a rich creamy milkshake like texture and the flavors compliment one another well. You may try using coconut milk to add a hint of more sweetness. This is winner and will be added to my smoothie/juice rotation.
Strawberry Banana Chai Smoothie
Ingredients
3-4 ice cubes or 1/2 cup crushed ice
1 cup almond or coconut milk
I cup frozen or fresh sliced strawberries
1 banana 1/3 cup whole gf oats
1/2 cup plain or strawberry Greek yogurt
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp nutmeg
2 packs stevia
Directions
1. Add ingredients to blender or Nutri bullet and blend until combined. Serve chilled.
