It’s peanut butter jelly time! I tastespotted this PB & J Berry Smoothie over on Skinnytaste and knew I had to try it. Peanut butter is my guilty pleasure. If I don’t stop myself I could literally east it by the spoonful right out of the container. This is my new favorite smoothie as it truly does taste like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I added flaxseed and rolled oats to boost the fiber content.
PB&J Berry Smoothie recipe adapted from Skinnytaste
1 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
3 tablespoons gluten free rolled oats
1 tbsp peanut butter
5 drops liquid stevia
3/4 cup frozen mixed berries
1 banana, frozen and chopped into six pieces
1. Place all the ingredients in the blender in the order listed and puree until smooth.
2. Serve immediately.
