Happy New Years Eve! And weekend. We end the week and the year with the final TGIF Weekly Roundup of the Year. Wishing everyone a happy, safe, and positive day of rest and festivating. There are so many awesomely wonderful things on the horizon that I can’t wait to share with you all. Check out what made the blog this week.
Shouldn’t the acronym be be called TGIS…as in Thank God It’s Saturday since Saturday is the official start of the weekend? On Friday you actually have to work and be bothered with it all. Or is it TGIF because of the elation and exclamation of making it to Friday knowing that the next day (Saturday) is a day free from the trials and tribulations of the work week? Am I overthinking and over analyzing the entire thing? Maybe it is all three of these things.
It really doesn’t matter and I am on a sleep deprived exhaustion induced aside, tangent, digression, rant, and ramble. I don’t know the answers to any of the questions BTW. These are the random thoughts racing through my mind as I freestyle the writing of this post on Friday night. I’m laying in bed fatigued and mentally binging on internet nonsense. A great to unwind and decompress from what seems to be the longest week ever (insert sarcasm). I hope you successfully made it through your week. If not, oh well. Hopefully you did your best and made the best of whatever situations you found yourself in. Now let go. Let god and be thankful for the weekend. For more mindless scrolling and a replay of the happenings that took place on this corner of the world wide web…Continue reading

Happy Weekend Everyone! Sun, fun, reading, and third graders are the words that come to my mind as I celebrate the end of the first full week of school. My week was jam packed and this weekend is even busier as I’ll be a vendor at a Fall Equinox Festival here in my hometown. That mean’s lots o baking for this weary chef. What are your weekend plans? Let me know in the comments and check out all the posts that happened on the blog this week.
