These Vegan Black Bean Brownies are the real deal. Even though the ingredients seem farfetched; no one would ever suspect that they are made with black beans and are flour-free, egg- free, dairy free, and gluten free. They are delicious, soft, decadent and A+mazing. However, my weekend wasn’t all splurges and treats. I remained healthy conscious and whipped up this yummy Blueberry Smoothie for breakfast on both days and had my fill of watermelon, fresh romaine from my garden, and tomatoes.
Check out the recipes for these amazing treats via their original blogs below. I made a few tweaks here and there (which I have noted). I hope your weekend was just as awesome as mine.
Until next week,

|* I added an additional 1/4 cup of raw sugar + 1 tablespoon of pure maple syrup. I would also suggest that you start with just 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and add more according to your taste. Cacoa powder has a strong flavor and 3/4 cups may be a bit much for some.

* I used rice milk in place of the almond milk & only 1/4 cup of cacao powder.
