Banana. Chai. Enough said. A tastespotting session (of course) over at The Sweetest Kitchen inspired this smoothie. I only wonder why I hadn’t thought of this combination before.
Banana Chai Spice Smoothie adapted from The Sweetest Kitchen’s Banana Chai Smoothie
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
3 tablespoons gluten free rolled oats
1/4 teaspoon chai spice mix
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1 medium banana, frozen sliced into 6 pieces
Add all ingredients into a blender in the order listed and process until smooth
Transfer to a serving glass with ice. Serve immediately.
