This Baked Apple Pie Smoothie is one of my favorites. I carefully developed the flavor profile to mimic an apple pie fresh from the oven. Seriously follow every step and use every ingredient when recreating this smoothie. It is so worth the effort. Now you too can enjoy a rich decadent apple pie for breakfast or dessert; without all the calories. Get into my last smoothie recipe of the week below.
Baked Apple Pie Smoothie
1 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
6 drops pure liquid stevia
2 tablespoons organic raw honey
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon ground flaxseed
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
3 tablespoons gluten free rolled oats
1 large baked apple,
½ cup crushed ice
The night before wash a large apple, wrap in foil and bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes. Allow apple to cool completely before blending.
Add all ingredients into a blender in order listed and process until smooth.
Transfer to a serving glass, serve immediately.
